Job Title: Member Services Associate, Jim & Heather Gills Branch YMCA

Description: We are currently hiring for outgoing and enthusiastic individuals to work at the YMCA Member Service Desk at our Jim & Heather Gills Branch on 1st Ave South. Applicant must be available during night shifts until 9:00pm and on weekends!

Responsibilities:

• Professionally greets and engages members, guests and program participants, in person and by phone.
• Provides facility tours in an effort to promote and sell memberships and facilitate program enrollment.
• Performs data entry, files, accurately handles financial transactions, and processes various enrollments, cancellations, and other membership changes.
• Keeps all courtesy areas clean and organized, and assists members with special requests.
• Handles and resolves membership concerns.
• Builds relationships with members; helps members connect with one another and the YMCA.

Requirements: Candidate must possess a HS diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 6 months customer service, sales or related experience. Position requires excellent organizational, communication and problem solving skills and the ability to learn the YMCA Daxko software program quickly and efficiently.

Pay & Perks: $15.50/hour, part-time. Must be available nights and weekends. Excellent benefits including facility usage, before and after school child care, retirement savings & insurance available upon meeting eligibility requirements.
