Our Aquatics Center features an 8-lane, 25-yard lap pool, a warm water teaching pool, and a fun splash pad. We proudly serve YMCA members, families, and local middle school students, creating a vibrant community atmosphere.

What You'll Do:

• Maintain vigilant supervision of all swimmers and aquatic areas, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment.

• Be ready to act quickly and confidently in emergency situations following YMCA protocols.

• Set a positive tone for the day with a professional attitude and outstanding customer service.

• Perform safety checks of the pools and surrounding areas each morning before opening.

• Promote and model the YMCA's core values in every interaction.

• Maintain clear, accurate records as required by YMCA and health department standards.

• Keep all equipment safe, accessible, and ready for use.

• Remain calm under pressure and handle challenges with a solutions-focused mindset.

Qualifications:

• Minimum age: 16

• Current certifications in CPR for the Professional Rescuer, AED, Basic First Aid, and Emergency Oxygen (required)

• Current YMCA Lifeguard or equivalent certification (preferred)

• Strong swimming skills and the ability to stay physically and mentally prepared

• A team-first attitude and dedication to a great member experience
