Job Title: Culinary Camp Counselor, Speer Branch YMCA (Summer 2026)

Duties:

• Host exciting and interactive cooking camps for young campers during a 10-week Summer Camp
• Teach basic cooking and baking skills, kitchen safety, and nutrition
• Promote proper safety, sanitation, and food-handling practices
• Collaborate on planning the culinary curriculum and assist with purchasing supplies
• Create a welcoming, energetic, and consistent camp experience for all participants

Requirements:

• A culinary degree is not required
• Availability for the complete 10-week Summer Camp
• Strong kitchen skills and a passion for cooking are essential
• Experience working with children is preferred
• Positive attitude, creativity, and enthusiasm for working with youth
• 10-panel drug screen
• Clear a Level 2 background check*

Pay & Perks: Part-time/seasonal, $18.00-$20.00/hour, depending on experience. Free individual YMCA membership for employee and discount for family.
