Job Title: Tumbling Instructor 

Description: The YMCA of Greater St Petersburg's Dance Academy is looking for qualified, reliable dance instructors in tumbling for all ages & levels for our growing dance program. Y Dance Academy (YDA) is a large non-profit dance program offering classes in all genres, including an award winning competition team, technique classes, and a large end of year performance for all students. Students have the option of pursuing dance competitively or as a recreational passion.

We are looking to fill classes on Monday & Wednesday evenings.

Requirements:

• Instructors must have previous experience teaching a variety of dance genres to all age levels.
• References are required and videos of past work preferred.
• Part-time schedule with afternoon & evening availability during the week.

• Pass a 10-panel urinalysis drug screen
• Clear a Level 2 background check*

Locations: The candidate will work at 2 of our 3 YMCA Greater St. Petersburg locations depending on schedule
